Angels for the Angels

Vicky D, Des Moines, IA, knit and crocheted these blankets for the Angelbabies.

 But I especially LOVE these blankets, which Vicky crocheted with an Angel motif!

Knitting pretty!!

Today was spent with some pretty darned special friends.   The three of us talked, laughed, shared, knitted, and crocheted.

Teresa N, better known at "T" to me, received her first lesson in knitting from Vicky D, who had been at for a year or two.

Knitting is not something you pick up in 5 minutes and T hung in there until she had was she called "a hand blanket".

Vicky D helped T with her lesson and worked on her own crocheting.  Vicky finished a blanket,

and started another, knitting the new one is a pretty light aqua.

Me?  I wasn't just standing around looking pretty...

I picked up these three blankets, completed by Vicky before we arrived....
