I have been away far too long. I am back... and it feels wonderful.
Based on the way I process donations, I had Angel items from many different donated dresses in various stages of completion when my attention was called away. I am working on the usable organization of the studio while I finish some of them up.
At AngelGownsbyjacki, we provide, free of charge, burial accoutrement to families whose pre-term baby earned its wings and became An Angel Too Soon. All AngelGowns are created from donated dresses and volunteers transform the dresses into an outfit to grace an Angel for eternity.

The first AngelGown of February 2015
Velvet ribbon edges the lace overlay on this AngelGown. At the neck, there is a small pearl and flower spray. The AngelCap is trimmed with the same velvet ribbon with pearl and flowers.
The fabric for the gown was from Amy K's dress.
The lace overlay was purchased with a cash donation to AngelGowns.
The velvet ribbon was donated by a vendor at a quilt show.

Amy K's wedding dress...
was donated back in July and I was very negligent in getting into the blog in a timely manner. I offer my sincere apologies to Amy K.
This dress has THE longest train I have ever seen. I am thinking maybe Princess Diana's was longer but this dress is a serious 2nd!! Simply an amazing amount of fabric.
