Knitting pretty!!

Today was spent with some pretty darned special friends.   The three of us talked, laughed, shared, knitted, and crocheted.

Teresa N, better known at "T" to me, received her first lesson in knitting from Vicky D, who had been at for a year or two.

Knitting is not something you pick up in 5 minutes and T hung in there until she had was she called "a hand blanket".

Vicky D helped T with her lesson and worked on her own crocheting.  Vicky finished a blanket,

and started another, knitting the new one is a pretty light aqua.

Me?  I wasn't just standing around looking pretty...

I picked up these three blankets, completed by Vicky before we arrived....

...and I learned a new crochet pattern. 

Vicky even provided us with the supplies needed for our lessons!!!  thank you Vicky!  :)

These beautiful dresses have already been picked up during my 3 week dress drive in Iowa.  I can not wait to begin the transformation that will take these cherished dresses to clothing for a precious Angel.
