April was a big shipment month!

So far this month, we were able to complete four shipments to new members of our team of hospitals and mortuaries: two shipments went out in the mail and two shipments were delivered in person.  I have two more shipments to mail and I am waiting to hear back from two more, all four new too!

I am thrilled about all of this for several reasons!!

Today's Progress

I have been a bit busy in my personal life the last 10 days but I got back to AngelGowns today.

I decided to step outside of my normal embellishing routine and try a few new things.

I figure that everyone's tastes vary so much...

that someone would like each one of these...

And it gets me out of my embellishment rut.

Decorated by Rochelle Lamb, Anthem
Sometimes, it seems like they all start looking alike...   and that's not good.

Doing different things allows me to use some of the button that my brother donated to AngelGowns,

And I can use some bits and pieces of lace and ribbons that need to be used up.

And every AngelGown outfit is special and unique....  just as every Angel is special and unique.

Sets and AngelCaps finished today...

An assortment of little AngelCaps were made from scraps and bits of embellishments left from various dresses.

This AngelGown was made from Erin P's dress and embellishments from other dresses.

The AngelGown on the right was created from a dress donated by Cindy L and embellishments I had on hand.

This gown was made from Leslie E's wedding dress.

The pink AngelGown with an overlay on the skirt is made from a formal dress donated by Chandra O and lace from an Anonymous donor.

Mondays are full of surprises!

I received some amazing blessings for the Angels today.  Some of these dresses are new and still have the tags on them!!!

As an added bonus, MOST of these dresses are lined with fabric that can also be used.

Heidi and Chandra are truly generous hearts !!!  Thank you!

Heidi H graciously donated her dresses.

Some velvet and black and dark purple fabric!!!

I am THRILLED to have more options for Angel boys.
