I met some friends for dinner recently and it was SO very nice to see everyone again. It had been a while since I was able to attend one of these "regular" dinners. Many of those attending had donated dresses to AngelGowns.... so with much trepidation, I took some of the AngelGowns, AngelCaps, and AngelBlankets with me to share.

There were stunned faces, tears, raised hair on arms, quiet contemplation, and more tears. All of this sounds bad.... but....

I believe that the stunned faces were response to the beauty that continued to represent their dresses....... the tears were for the parents that lost such tiny Angels....... the raised hair was in consideration of the impact that their donation had on grieving families........ the quiet contemplation was processing the trail of events that would result in such heartbreak and sadness for the grieving families......... and the continued tears were because they knew they made a difference in this sometimes too cold world.

I believe that each and every person at that dinner went away with new awareness of themselves and the impact they can have to help others in even small ways.

I believe that each and every person at that table last night felt the heartbreak that is associated with the loss of a baby.

I believe that each and every person at that table last night felt proud to be associated with what AngelGowns provides to these grieving families.

I believe that each and every person left that table last night with the peace that comes from helping another.

And I believe that each and every person at that table is a blessing to this world.

To all the donators.... words can not express my appreciation of your donations, which allow me to receive the blessings that come to me from AngelGowns.

And if you pay attention, you will see that the Angels sent you a message, too..... "Butterflies are heaven sent kisses from Angels"
